Welcome to My Lifestyle Journey

I was laying in bed ready to go to sleep one night and this loud voice in my head told me "YOU NEED TO QUIT SMOKING!" I got up out of bed like on auto pilot and took my cigarettes off my desk and put them in the kitchen where I spend less time, down sized all my ash trays,  and put on a patch that I had from when the Dr prescribed them to me. I knew at that moment I was ready to start quitting.

I knew it wasn't going to be easy, and nothing worth having ever is, and I know tobacco is the one legal drug that is highly addictive and the government wants it that way (but that is a blog story). Therefore; my investigation began, I investigated apps, videos, quit smoking websites, and more. All in all, it took me about three weeks to finally decide that QuitNow.com was the best site and had both an app for my computer and phone, and it came with supporting videos. Now I can begin my quit, I started my first quit on July first, 2017; then there was the finding of the support groups, I am still trying to figure out what groups are the best.
